Rev. Gina C. Jacobs-Strain

Associate Minister

Reverend Gina C. Jacobs-Strain presently serves as the Associate Minister for St. Paul; Interim Pastor for St. Paul Baptist Church, Atlantic Highlands, NJ; and Associate Regional Pastor for Women in Ministry for American Baptist Churches-NJ. She preaches, teaches and leads workshops. She has partnered with Princeton and Drew University; providing workshops, fellowship and mentoring opportunities for Women in Ministry. Reverend Jacobs-Strain is also the Chair of Developmental Education, at Nyack College, a Christian College, wherein she is a lecturer, leads Bible Study, preaches and has recently launched Vesper Services as part of the Faith and Learning Series.

She earned a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University and she graduated from Drew University’s Theological School Magna Cum Laude with a Masters of Divinity in May. Recently earned a Certificate of Excellence, Palmer Theological Seminary (2015), and is a contributing writer, Testify, published in 2015. Rev. Jacobs-Strain, loves the Lord and Jesus Christ has been at the center of her life since she committed her life to Christ at the age of 9.

Rev. Jacobs-Strain is passionate about sharing the gospel and helping people to see that there is a direct connection between biblical truths and everyday application. Two of her favorite scriptures are Jeremiah 1:5 and Philippians 4:4-6.She is married to Cliff Strain for 27 years and they have three sons.
