Bread of Heaven

Overview

According to the United States Department of Agriculture, approximately 657,320 people, including 175,830 children, in New Jersey were food insecure in 2020.  This means that 7.4% of individuals and 9.0% of children live in homes without consistent access to adequate food for healthy, active lives.  Seventeen percent of Blacks and Hispanics in New Jersey are food insecure.

To address this issue, the Bread of Heaven Ministry operates a food pantry, providing perishable goods to assist the local community and combat food insecurity.  The pantry was installed on September 17, 2021 and dedicated on September 26, 2021.
